Milka try a little tenderness... chocolate rewards for your affection
Milka recently encouraged the Argentinian public to try a little tenderness to get free chocolate. Its latest campaign involved a vending machine placed a short distance away from a Milka cow statue. As it lacked coin slots, passers-by had to figure out how to obtain the chocolate. By joining hands with one another to form a “chain of tenderness,” sensors on the vending machine and the cow were activated simultaneously, prompting the machine to release bars of chocolate. After each delivery, the cow statue moved further away from the machine, so that more hands were needed to connect the sensors.

From Sketch to Store - When illustration meets photography
French Connection UK commissioned famous fashion photographer Rankin to capture its Autumn/Winter 2013 collection for the brand's first black and white campaign, "From Sketch to Store." The photographer's in-house creative content agency, The Full Service, conceived the edgy-yet-playful video and shoot that will run online and in print until December. The pictures show male and female models whose nude forms were sketched over with designs -- including shoes and accessories -- by illustrator Jo Bird. The final photos are of them sporting the collection's finished looks. The merging of photography with the clever illustrations make a simplistic yet impactful campaign.

RPM's Creative Blog
This year, our Creative department launched 'Daily Creative', a blog that captures the innovative and inventive thinking of our studio. Every day, one of RPM's creatives uploads a project, image, drawing or animation that they have made or discovered, with the aim to share creative ideas among likeminded people. Check out the latest blog post by Sophie who suggests carrying around a typeface for a day and placing it in different environments to see which suits it best. Looks like the 'M' likes the armchair...

What's In Our Creative Lunch?
Over to our Junior Designer Lucy Heale..This Johnnie Walker piece of promo aims to educate the viewer on the great blend of flavours in their Black Label edition. The brand have done this by using each square section of this product to describe a different scent by infusing it with each particular smell.
It is interesting to use and doesn’t give everything away at once; starting off as a square which can be unwrapped. You are encouraged to read it and smell it along the way engaging all senses!
I also really respect the production of it; the card is smooth with no signs of how the scent has been placed into it and you also find that you can only smell each section when you hold it very close, so none of them overpowers the other.
This is infact the concept behind it all; a blend of balanced flavours that do not overpower eachother.
